Check Out The Picture That Triggered The Racist Rant By L.A. Clippers Owner Donald Sterling
L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling told his GF he does NOT want her bringing black people to his games ... including Magic Johnson ... and it's ALL on tape.
According to TMZ Sports has obtained audio of Sterling making the racist declaration during a heated argument on April 9th with V. Stiviano ... after she posted a photo on Instagram posing with Magic.
Sterling rails on Stiviano -- who ironically is black and Mexican -- for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down). But it doesn't end there. You have to listen to the audio to fully grasp the magnitude of Sterling's racist worldview. Among the comments:
-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)

UK PM Criticized Over Statement
British Prime Minister David Cameron was accused on Monday of sowing sectarianism and division after stressing in an Easter message that Britain was still a “Christian country”.
The criticism came in an open letter signed by 55 public figures, including writers Philip Pullman and Terry Pratchett and the Nobel Prize-winning scientists John Sulston and Harold Kroto.
Cameron, a member of the established Church of England, has been increasingly vocal about his beliefs recently, and in an article published last week urged Christians to be “more evangelical” about their faith.

Femi Aribisala, Why Is There No Regard For Human Life In Nigeria?
I just returned last week from a short visit to London. One of the major news items there was the re-opening of an inquest into the Hillsborough disaster of 1989 when some spectators died during the F.A. Cup semi-final football match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. When I heard this, I shook my head. These “oyinbos” are still concerned about deaths that took place 25 years ago. But here in Nigeria, there is no serious inquest into the deaths of job-applicants to the Nigerian Immigration Service in several cities just this year.
A Senate Committee spent a perfunctory two days paying lip-service to the disaster. The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, refused to resign. His understanding of his responsibility did not go beyond mouthing vain platitudes. The government imposed no sanctions on those who turned our stadiums into death-traps simply in order to defraud the poor unemployed of 6 billion naira. A court-verdict ordered that 50 million naira compensation should be paid to the suspended Central Bank Governor for his unlawful detention for 24 hours. How much compensation should be paid for the senseless deaths of innocent job-seekers?

Ex-Georgian President – How Nigeria Can Tackle Corruption
Mr. Mikhail Saakashvil, former President of the Republic of Georgia, on Tuesday said Nigeria could confront corruption and other related problems if its leaders were willing to take drastic measures, not caring whose ox was gored.
Saakashvil, who was Guest Speaker at the opening ceremony of the Lagos Economic Summit, also known as Ehingbeti 2014, added that Nigeria’s problems were not insurmountable.
He explained that corruption in Georgia was so prevalent that government officials did not offer any service without demanding bribe.
Saakashvil, who was President of Georgia from 2004 to 2013, pointed out that if his country could metamorphose from nearly a failed state a few years ago to an economic stable country, Nigeria could also overcome its challenges.

Lupita's Endorsement Deal With Lancome
Today, Popular DJ, Media & Entertainment Consultant, DJ Abass posted the picture above on his instagram page saying;
“I’m not a fan of skin bleaching but neither am I of double standards. International media (BBC, ITV, CH4uk, etc) have been critical of #Dencia’s skin lightening cream, especially in the wake of the controversy b/w Dencia&Lupita. Now Lupita has just been signed as the first black ambassador of French cosmetics giant #Lancome, a company that also manufactures skin whitening creams….and I don’t hear any media house raising hell. Maybe I’m the one confused but does anyone catch my drift?”
Cameroonian starlet, Dencia reposted the same picture saying;

How Bad Can It Get, Patients Take Generators To Hospital
Some workers of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital have said relatives of patients are compelled to bring their personal generators to the hospital because of poor electricity supply.
The workers also attributed the poor electricity supply to the stealing of diesel meant to power generators at the UCTH by unidentified staff of the institution.
Workers in the health institution told our correspondent that the development had compelled relatives of patients who are in critical condition to bring in their generators to rescue their loved ones.
A worker in the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital, who preferred anonymity, said those who siphoned the diesel did it at night, adding it was not possible for outsiders to carry out such act.
He also said as a result of the poor electricity supply, workers on night shift came to the hospital with their rechargeable lamps to carry out their duties.
He said, “Those who come to siphon the diesel at night are not strangers. They come with drums to take away diesel from the reservoir. As a result of that, we hardly have light when the public supply goes off. We are afraid to talk because we are public servants.
“But it is getting to the stage where we need to talk as it is affecting our work. We cannot work well in the dark. Most times, we just look at patients helplessly without being able to do much in the dark.”

Doyin Okupe Boasts – I Have Never Known Poverty
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, on Friday thumped his chest over his rich background, saying he has never known poverty in his life and apparently does not understand what it means to be poor.
“I have never been poor,” Mr. Okupe boasted on twitter during a discussion on the recent comment by the President of the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim, who said the largest chunk of the world’s poorest people are concentrated in Nigeria and four other countries. “My father was one of the richest of his time. He even owned a bank. I qualified a doctor and a successful one.”
Mr. Okupe (@doyinokupe) had taken to Twitter to disparage media reporting of Mr. Kim’s comment, claiming that the World Bank’s President did not classify Nigeria as poor.

According to Denver Post a Wyoming college student visiting Denver on spring break jumped to his death after eating a marijuana cookie that his friend legally purchased in one of Colorado's recreational pot shops, authorities said Wednesday.
An autopsy report lists marijuana intoxication as a 'significant contributing factor' in the death of 19-year-old Levi Thamba Pongi, a native of the Republic of Congo who witnesses say leaped from a Holiday Inn balcony on March 11.
Pongi's death is now the first in the state listed with such a cause since Colorado legalized marijuana January 1.
