The deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka, has died of cancer.
Funmilayo Olayinka has been deputy governor since 16th October 2010. She was also a champion of women’s rights. She came to the government from the banking sector.
She leaves behind a husband and three children.
She was 52 years old, May Her soul rest In peace.
