Boston Marathon Hit By Explosions: 100 Wounded, 2 Dead

Another US attack? Two explosions occurred at the finish line of the Boston marathon today April 15. Many people have been injured, some having limbs blown off. There have been reports that six people are in critical condition, two are dead and hospitals have admitted 100 injured people.

There have been two explosions near the Mandarin hotel in Boston, and nearly 100 people have been injured. At the final line of the Boston marathon, two explosions occurred during the race. Many victims have lost limbs, and two people have been reported dead. Copley Square in downtown Boston was the scene of the crime. There are currently no flights going in or out of Boston.

What Caused The Explosions At The Race?

It is believed that the bombs had been placed in garbage cans, and 100 people have been reported injured by The Boston Globe. They are reporting that two have been killed.

Witnesses Tweet Horrific Scene Of Boston Marathon Explosion
“I saw people’s legs blown off. Horrific. Two explosions. Runners were coming in and saw unspeakable horror,” tweeted NECN reporter Jackie Bruno.

“We were so close it was scary. Felt the force of the explosion. People were fleeing and victims were scattered.”

The victims are being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, and there are up to 30 ambulances on the scene.

UPDATE: Boston Police think that this was an act of terrorism. CNN called the tragedy a “well planned event.”
