Adele Acquires £5m Pad In Kensington

Adele and her partner Simon Konecki, have acquired a new home in Kensington, West London – just a stone’s throw from the rented London residence of the Beckhams.

Despite her London address being in a private gated road in a select area, Adele – awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours – has installed bulletproof windows to protect the couple and their baby son Angelo from intruders.

‘She moved in a couple of months ago,’ says a curtain-twitcher.  ‘She has renovated the whole place and has even installed bulletproof windows.
'The property has four bedrooms.’

Adele, who hails originally from gritty Tottenham in North London, famously moved a bodyguard into the £15,000-a-month house she rented in West Sussex when she feared it was haunted.

The singer could have problems if she wants to borrow a cup of sugar from the former Spice Girl.
She may find famously slim Victoria’s cupboard bare – but no doubt another neighbour, Nigella Lawson, will have a plentiful supply.
