Man Killed By A Custom Officer At Iyana Ipaja

This happened this morning. A man trying to smuggle a Audi wagon car into Lagos was stopped by custom officers but he refused to stop. They chased him to Iyana Ipaja. When he got there he met a little traffic and decided to run out of the car. He was immediately shot dead by the custom officers. His body is currently lying on the express way now.

Is this how the law should operate? why would you shoot an unarmed man? what kind of training is being given to these officers?
