Nelson Brown On The Beat Working With 2Face On Upcoming Sole Album

2face Idibia will be reuniting with former songwriter and producer Nelson Brown as he commences work on his upcoming projects including a sixth solo album.

In an exclusive interview with NET, when asked about his current relationship with Brown (who went under the radar shortly after the infamous Plantashun Boiz split), 2face admits he’s not really close to Brown but they still stay in touch.

‘We’re not as close as we used to be but every once in a while we call up and say hi. He was at my wedding in Akwa Ibom‘, 2face said adding ‘Yes, there’s something I’m going to do with him‘.

Nelson Brown, unarguably one of the most remarkable pop producers of the 90s and early 2000s signed Platashun Boiz (consisting of 2face Idibia, Blackface and Faze) and produced their critically-acclaimed albums ‘Body and Soul‘ in 2000 and ‘Sold Out‘ in 2003.
