Her performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs sparked a massive peak in Twitter activity during the duration of the show, In fact her antics resulted in Twitter recording 306 100 tweets per minute during her performance and a total of 4.5 million tweets directed at her during the 2 hour period that the show ran for! That’s a new world record!
