Eminem Celebrates Double Award Success At The MTV EMAs

Rapper Eminem had triple cause to celebrate on Sunday night after he landed his seventh UK number one album just hours before he took home two prizes at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The 41-year-old musician, real name Marshall Mathers, made history as he became the first US artist to have seven consecutive records top the UK album chart.

However, while Eminem's album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 rocketed to the top of the charts, his collaborative single with Rihanna, The Monster, fell down the ladder after it was knocked off the top spot by US DJ Storm Queen's hit track Look Right Through.

Eminem also delighted fans by proving he has lost none of his spark as he took to the stage to perform Berzerk and Rap God - two tracks from his new album.
