I AM THE BOSS ... Jose Mourinho

The Special One is Back and we are sure to see alot of sparks and changes in the upcoming season of the EPL.

He responds to the dropping of  Iker Casillas at Real Madrid saying , it was no more controversial than Sir Alex Ferguson side-lining Wayne Rooney.
Or his Chelsea predecessor Rafa Benitez leaving John Terry on the bench regularly last season.

The Special One left Madrid after a season in which he caused dressing-room unrest and jeers from the majority of the Real fans by leaving out skipper Casillas.

Now, after taking charge of Chelsea, Mourinho has broken his silence over his bitter fall out with the Spain goalkeeper.

Mourinho told Intereconomia TV: “He’s a player — and, for me, the players are all equal.
“Maybe in Madrid people are not prepared for all the players to be the same. I’m a coach who looks for meritocracy.

“Whoever I think is best prepared is who should play, without looking at the status or their past.
“It’s how you work, how you train, how you play.

“For me it was an absolutely normal situation, like it was normal for Benitez to leave Terry always on the bench this season, like Sir Alex left Rooney on the bench — based on what I think, which is meritocracy.

“The people think Iker is better than Diego Lopez and should always play. I accept that perfectly. But I am the manager.”
