Dynamo Talk's About His Bus Trick And What's Next

Still wonder how he dose his acts, Dynamo stunned tourists over the weekend when he levitated on the side of bus.
And now, following huge speculation about just how he did it, Dynamo has opened up about the incredible illusion, admitting that he had just two days to prepare.

While Dynamo kept quiet about the technicalities of performing such an immense stunt, he said 'creating the impossible' is what he is all about.

In an exclusive interview with Mail Online, Dynamo said of the preparations for the trick, which was to launch his collaboration with Pepsi MAX: 'It was one of those crazy things. I threw out the idea to Pepsi and they loved it and then a couple of days later we were doing it.

'All we had hoped for was that it wasn't going to rain, but then I would have had to just make an umbrella appear - Mary Poppins on the side of a bus, that would have been one look.'
And the reaction to the visually stunning stunt made it all worthwhile, with Dynamo adding: 'The people on the ground were going crazy. And all the people on the bus as well. All I could see was a row of camera phones pointed me.

'I had my phone on me too and I was looking at Twitter as it was happening - it was quite nuts to see it come up as I was on the bus. Nobody had the perspective that I did that day.'

However, Dynamo, whose previously stunning stunts include him walking on water, admitted that there is a lot more in the pipeline - particularly in the upcoming third series of his Watch TV show Dynamo: Magician Impossible.

He said: 'I've got a few massive tricks coming up in my new series. That's what I'm all about - creating the impossible.'

Dynamo, real name Stephen Frayne, also credited David Blaine for helping boost the reputation of magic, adding that he wouldn't have his own TV show if it wasn't for the U.S. street magician.
He explained: 'David Blaine is a pioneer. Without him, I probably wouldn't be on TV today. He opened up so many doors and inspired so many magicians, and he also inspired people to believe in magic and get the respect that it deserves as an art form.

In this day and age, it's all focused on the singers, and the dancers - magic and the allied arts don't get the appreciation they got back in the day.

'But even people like David Copperfield or Paul Daniels in their time, they were absolutely incredible but people don't necessarily know their work that much these days because we kind of missed that era.'
And as well as his TV show and plans for a stage tour, Dynamo has another venture he is hoping to see through - if Simon Cowell agrees

He said: 'I think that it would be nice for some of the magicians on Britain's Got Talent and these types of shows to get a bit more love from the judges because Simon Cowell, notoriously, isn't the best fan of magic I don't believe.

'So it would be nice for a magician to step up to that judging arena and give these magicians a hand.'
Asked if he would like the role, Dynamo replied: 'I'm sure Simon can find my number!'
Dynamo has partnered with Pepsi MAX to encourage consumers to ‘Live for NOW’ and make their everyday experiences as exhilarating as they can be by igniting the genius within. More information available at pepsi.co.uk
