The Argentina international was ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid community service earlier this year following a series of driving offences during his seven-year spell in England.
However, following his move to the Italy, there had been concerns that the 29-year-old would be able to complete his punishment.
But District Judge Bridget Knight has ruled that there were circumstances beyond Tevez's control preventing him from completing the terms of his order and the former Boca Juniors ace will now pay a fine instead.
"This is only a technical breach," Knight said. "It is not, I repeat not, a case of a footballer thumbing his nose at a court order."
Tevez added: "I would like to thank the court for its understanding. I appreciate their help and assistance in this case.
"I would also like to thank my legal team, especially Gwyn Lewis at Burton Copeland and all my advisors who have helped me throughout this case.
"All I want to do is continue my career in Italy with Juventus and I am looking forward to a new chapter."
The Bianconeri, meanwhile, have reportedly told the striker he needs to lose weight ahead of next season after being deemed 'overweight' at his medical.
Tevez has since laughed off these claims, admitting that there were complaints about his figure even before he had sealed a move to the Italian champions.
"I'd not even arrived at Juve and there were already people saying I had to lose about six kilograms," he told Argentine Magazine Clarin.
"In reality I haven't even weighed myself and it so makes me laugh to hear these kind of things."
