The 38-year-old former Fugees singer was released from a minimum security federal prison on Friday after serving a three-month sentence for failing to pay taxes on $1.8m worth of income.
Hill released her new single Consumerism the night before she left the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
Hill asked a judge for a reprieve from home detention so she can tour from Nov. 15 through Dec. 31 and her request was granted, according to TMZ.
